Description

Longer LK5 Pro introduces upgraded cooling fans and a dual blower kit for rapid cooling of filament without any hassle. Besides a dual blower, it adds 90% pre-assembled, large build volume of 300*300*400mm on a triangle structured frame which is highly stable and reduces vibration during printing.

Just like every other FDM printer, this gadget comes with a 4.3 inch full-color touch screen, offering real-time monitoring of the printing process. A 3-kit TMC2208 ultra-silent chipset drives the X/Y/Z-axis stepper for quiet printing, lowering printer noise. The G code on LK5 Pro can be modified according to your own ideas with open-source firmware.

The Longer LK5 Pro hotbed is made of carborundum glass, which has a porous surface, and this allows for easy disassembling of the model and improved quality printing performance. In addition, its Teflon tube is resistant to high temperatures of up to 280°C, does not soften easily, and feeds filaments more easily during printing, which helps to improve quality and reduce nozzle clogging.

This printer comes with dual inclined rods that holds the Z axis as a steady triangular structure that reduces errors caused by vibrations
Resumes printing after power loss

This printer has a large build size and a reinforced diagonal rod to reduce vibration. Even though it’s not difficult to assemble this printer, it took about one hour to set up and fine-tune. Interestingly, the printer is equipped with a TMC2208 ultra-quiet drive that reduces noise during printing. The full-color touch screen of the more extended LK5 pro printer enables me to view the printing information on the screen.

After some tinkering, I was able to acquire some really beautiful prints. Although assembling the printer is not difficult, it is time consuming. It’s equipped with a color touchscreen LCD that works really well, and the glass bed heats up rapidly. The printer also comes with an open source main board, so it’s easy to upgrade the LK5 Pro to your liking. The print bed is large and can easily accommodate large builds but prints don’t come off easily.

This printer is a cheap 3D printer that can print large objects. It is straightforward to operate, has a large build volume, simple manual print bed leveling and a modern touch screen. Unlike other large format 3D printers, it constantly vibrates and wobbles during printing. This printer features a triangular design achieved through two support struts and the frame’s shape to prevent such. The printer remained stable even at high speeds during the test I did while printing. You can adjust the two support struts and fix them for even more stability. Another plus is that the 3D printer stands on four feet and the leveling screws are easy to access. The printer has a textured glass bed that helps improve your prints’ adhesion, and I never had issues with the prints sticking on the bed. It has a colored display touchscreen with intuitive menu navigation, which responds to your input quickly and makes for a good operations experience. Regarding good print quality, Longer LK5 Pro is the most reliable 3D printer.
