MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer has a flexible build plate of dimensions “11.6 X 7.6 X 6.5 IN”. Grip Build Surface is an addition to this printer that allows better print adherence, and lessens warping and curling.

MakerBot Replicator is optimized for MakerBot PLA material i.e., non-toxic and safe to use in homes, offices, by school-going children. It allows flexible Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet connectivity and controls the printer either remotely with MakerBot mobile or manually via MakerBot printer.

MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer features advanced software in which the user can control and take print on multiple build plates simultaneously. Moreover, the user can store, access, and organize several 3D designs in their Cloud-enabled library.

The printer is designed with MakerBot software, a smart extruder, a full-color LCD, and Wi-Fi connectivity that helps achieve printing efficiency. I like this printer because I can print via USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB thumb drive. Additionally, this printer is relatively quiet, and I use it in the study room or workplace.

Setting up this printer is quite simple and leveling the bed is easy and straightforward. It operates rather smoothly with decent print quality and the software is user-friendly, especially for newbies. The print bed volume is decent with good surface adhesion and prints snap off easily when cooled. The machine works well with ordinary PLA filament but you’re limited to only using PLA.
