Flash Forge guider 2S is an improved version of the flash forge guider 3D printer. However, it has more advanced features, such as a larger print plate than the preceding one and a removal print plate to ensure easy printer cleaning. The all-metal frame of the printer is quite sturdy. I’m particularly amazed by the filament runout sensor, in-built HD camera for remoting monitoring, and air filter for safe indoor operation.

I would definitely recommend this printer. It has a large print area and the prints are smooth and have excellent quality. It works right out of the box after a simple first layer calibration and produces beautiful prints effortlessly, and has no problem printing with ABS. However, the printer is pretty loud when printing and the assisted bed leveling is a little challenging and isn’t accurate most of the time.

The requirements of an industrial printer are accuracy, repeatability, dependability, and the ability to print with industry-standard materials. Having used the printer for some weeks, I can’t speak for its long-term dependability, but I did experience what it’s like to work on the extruder, and it’s effortless to service compared to most printers. As for the rest, I can definitively say the printer meets all the other requirements. The print quality is the best I’ve seen, and I’m sure I could have printed even higher resolutions. Every print, even in different materials, would come out without fail.
The FlashPrint software is relatively robust, with several parameters that can be changed but not to the point of being overwhelming. And most importantly, being able to print with functional materials like PACF right out of the box is an immense value add for small manufacturing and design businesses. On top of all that, the printer is whisper quiet, definitely quiet enough for an office with the lid on. And it’s very user-friendly. The interface is intuitive, with descriptions that make sense. The predefined material profiles all worked as they should and tolerated layer height tweaks just fine.
