MINGDA Rock 3 PRO is equipped with a direct drive extruder which is designed to combine with the E3D V6 Hotend, making printing more efficient and easier to do.

In terms of volume, MINGDA Rock 3 Pro has a big size of 12.6 x 12.6 x 15.75 inches. The upgraded-style dual-ear extruder is more powerful than conventional extruders. To cool down the device quickly, its Teflon tube and nozzles are equipped with fans. So you can print continuously at a faster speed without the device heating up too much.

Its precise baby step controlling function helps you control the printing process in an easy and finest manner through its screen. Using this feature you can efficiently control the level distance which helps in stable and accurate printing.

MINGDA Rock 3 PRO is known for its very silent 3D printing, thanks to its 5 groups of TMC2208 chips on the motherboard which let you enjoy the printing operation without any fuss or noise.

The use of double guide screws on the Z-axis allows easy rotation while keeping the straps at the same height. Further, the Z-axis screw rod features an axial play-free spring to improve pressure accuracy and eliminate axial play.

What’s more? This ultra-quiet 3D printer inherits a belt tension regulator on the X and Y axis, which lets you adjust the belt tension as needed.

The printer has a large build volume for printing large models. The printer has a fully developed print head that combines hot end and extruder to produce fine prints. I love Mingda rock 3 pro ultra-silent, direct drive extruder and dual Z leadscrews that allow printing of large a quiet environment during printing.

The build volume is large and can accommodate printing of large parts in a single print. Leveling the platform is achieved by adjusting the four large thumbscrews at each corner of the build platform manually. The manual leveling process works well and is relatively quick. The printer is not as loud thanks to the silent stepper drivers.

This printer offers many features that are useful to any potential user hoping to print large items with a direct drive extruder and easily remove them from the build platform. The silent stepper drivers and dual Z leadscrews help to push this printer to a higher level of performance to be able to print large parts quickly, quietly, and repeatedly, but experienced power users may be disappointed with the lack of an automatic bed leveling device.
The manual leveling process works well and is relatively quick but could likely be removed by adding a probe to measure Z offset distance. It comes with SD card, USB cable, allen keys, a leveling card, and a basic assembly guide to get the user off to a quick start. It also includes upgrades that will benefit any user who purchases one.
