Sovol 3D Upgraded Platform is designed for all DLP and SLA 3D resin printers. It is flexible, corrosion-resistant, and offers excellent adhesion, especially for small models. Its magnetic base has powerful magnets with alternative polarity to resist FEP suction.
Description
Sovol 3D Upgraded spring steel pate is an all-in-one kind of replaceable build plate solution. It is simple to install, easier to remove, convenient to clean, and safe to bend to remove the 3D models. Now the user won’t have to worry about getting damaged of their models during the removal process.
Not only that, the Solvo 3D SSS is corrosion-resistant, and provides excellent adhesion, and strong holding of the small as well as large models throughout the printing process.
The pack of 2 Solvo build plates can save you time as you can start printing the second model on the second plate before waiting for the first to clean.
Solvo’s Upgraded Platform for 3D resin printers has a magnetic base that offers an excellent fit with the steel plate via magnets. In addition, the plate has 2 “easy lift tabs” for the convenient removal of the build plate.
Following are a few care instructions for using a Solvo 3D build plate:
- When installing the Solvo build plate, make sure to gently compact it to the base to remove air bubbles. Because the air bubbles can destroy or peel off the magnetic base.
- Do not print anything for 72 hours after the initial installation.
- It can be cleaned with alcohol before and after the printing process to ensure complete removal of the resin.
- The only care instruction that you have to keep in mind is “the accurate z-axis adjustment; it should be 2.7 mm higher”

Yes, a Solvo 3D magnetic build plate is customizable and can be cut (not with ordinary scissors, you need to cut it with a shear cutter) to any desired size. However, it is available in 5 different sizes, which you can select according to your printer’s build plate size.
Can I use Solvo 135X75mm for my Elegoo Mars 3?
The ELEGO Mars 3 has a build plate of size “5.64in(L)*3.52in(W)*6.89in(H)”. So select a build plate that fits with your printer’s build plate size.
Do I need to level the bed with Solvo 3D SSS, or it eliminates the need for bed leveling?
Yes, you need to level the bed every time you start printing a new model and No, the use of a Solvo 3D magnetic build plate does not eliminate the need for bed leveling.
