Gizmo Dork’s new low-odor ABS filament offers strength, durability, and versatility allowing you to avoid the pungent smell that usually comes with typical ABS.

ABS is a great thermoplastic for manufacturing and 3D printing. For starters, it’s used in a lot of everyday products like Legos because of its high glass transition temperature which reduces deformation, yet it’s still low enough to be used in standard 3D printers. ABS is also a hard, strong plastic that’s more flexible than PLA, can be dissolved in Acetone, and is easy to sand and machine.

And when it comes to 3D printing, ABS extrudes smoothly with minimal stringing or oozing. But, because it cools and shrinks after extrusion, it’s best to print it on a heated bed and in an enclosed chamber. Now you can enjoy 3D printing without unpleasant odors by using this low-odor ABS filament.
