Important Tips:

1. If your 3D printer is a fully enclosed printer, please keep the covers open right through printing to avoid a clog. Because an enclosed space will impact the fluidity of PLA material.

2. The GID color means it is going to glow in the darkness. How does it glow? – The glowing characteristic of this filament is: Only when it absorbs light first, then it is going to glow in the darkness. You’ll be able to expose it to bright lighting light for 15-30 mins, then take it to a dark environment, it is going to glow, and the glow effect will be more obvious if you try it at night. All the GID filaments wish to absorb light first, then output glow in the darkness.

3. To avoid tangle at the beginning – Please hold the end of the filament when you cut it at the start of the use of a new roll, don’t let it scattered disorderly. To solve it when tangle happened once – Please unwind a couple of meters to make sure the filament be sorted out orderly, then restart the printing. Normally, it is going to not happen again. Be sure you insert the free end of the filament into the holes to avoid being tangled for next time use.

4. Please store the used filament into the reseal bag (we’ve included a free reseal bag in each box) to keep it from moisture.

5. If there’s no print plan within a couple of days, retract the filament to offer protection to the printer nozzle.

6. If you have a first layer adhesion issue, please check the setting temperature of the heat bed and re-level the print substrate to reduce the distance between the nozzle and the heat bed.
