ELEGOO Mars 3 features COB Light Source (upgraded and free-form surface) having 36 evenly distributed UV LED lights cum Fresnel lens that allows premium quality prints with super smooth and detailed finishing. In short, ELEGOO Mars 3 generates fascinating 3D models.

Its large build volume (143.43×89.6×175mm) enables the user to take out multiple-smaller 3D models or a single large one in one round. In other words, it saves your time and resources efficiently and with zero compromises on the quality.

ELEGOO Mars 3 has a 4K Monochrome LCD which is almost 6.6 inches long and has a replaceable anti-scratch protective glass. Not only that, it comes with 9H hardness for better light transmission, high resolution (4098 x 2560), and a longer life span.

Compared to ELEGOO Mars 2 (130 x 82 x 160 mm), ELEGOO Mars 3 has a larger printable volume 143 x 90 x 165 mm, and higher resolution. Moreover, its hexagonal non-slip leveling screws offer more incomparable stability that directly affects the printing quality of the printer.

The 3D printer has 4K LCD screen that offers a higher print resolution and razor-sharp details than its predecessor. Thanks to the Upgraded COB UV LED light, this printer does not compromise on print speed. If you’re looking for a 3D printer with a high resolution and speed, then Elegoo Mars 3 is the best option. It also has Chitubox, meaning that software modification is not needed. Testing is reliable and accurate yet poorly designed.

The build volume is quite large and it’s capable of handling large complex prints. The 4K resolution creates highly detailed prints at an ultra-fine resolution. Even though bed leveling is done manually, it’s not difficult and you won’t need to re-align the bed after each print.

This printer is the perfect choice if you’re looking to try out resin printing for the first time. It’s sturdy and well-built and the design of this unit makes for a perfect entry-level model. The high resolution makes precise and highly detailed prints. Sadly, the print bed is leveled manually and there’s no option for Wi-Fi connectivity.

Since I’ve been using this printer, it has proven accurate and reliable. If your primary concern is resolution and speed, then the 0.035mm XY resolution of this printer makes the printer worth the price for fast, high-resolution printing. The printer’s body consists of a plastic shell that feels a little less sturdy than a solid metal base and weighs less. This doesn’t necessarily affect performance, but it doesn’t feel relatively as rigid and sturdy as previous generations of printers. Ensure you use the Printer in a well-ventilated room to minimize the danger of inhaling fumes. Any spills or uncured resin stuck to a surface should be cleaned using 99% isopropyl alcohol. The resin container should be closed and secured when not actively pouring material.
